World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event moves to January 2026
Following consultation with the competing World Curling Member Associations and Local Organisers, next season’s World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event taking place in Dumfries, Scotland, has been moved from its original December 2025 dates to 4–10 January 2026.
World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2026: Full schedule, all results and standing!
This date change has been implemented in this Olympic season to avoid potential conflicts with the mixed doubles competition at the Olympic Qualification Event 2026 taking place in Kelowna, Canada in December.
This ensures that Member Associations who find themselves in both events do not have to sacrifice their pathway to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games or an attempt to qualify for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2026 being held in Geneva, Switzerland.
